With a focus on fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for science, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Maternity Leave Teacher to inspire and educate students in grades 3-7.

Position Schedule:

• Full-Time: April 28th – June 13th
• Part-Time: August 18th – October 31st

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the documented curriculum and pacing guide.
• Design lessons based on the FOSS science program
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and scientific exploration.
• Participate in school events, school duties, professional development, and extracurricular activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience teaching science to elementary and middle school students is a plus.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for inspiring young minds and making science exciting.
